Meet Katie, the photographer!
Hello and welcome to Simply Impressive Photography!
My name is Katie (Bosarge) Lewis. I was born and raised in Grand Bay, Alabama and am one of seven children. Family is a BIG part of my life! I love my siblings and mother more than I could put into words. Without their support, this website and this business would not be up and running. Having said that, my husband (who is also my best friend) and his family have been just as supportive and have welcomed me into their family as one of their own.
After graduating from high school, I attended Troy University (formerly known as Troy State University) where I became a member of the Sound of the South marching band and Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity for women. I am a BIG fan of Troy Trojan football and baseball! In college, I majored in Criminal Justice and Photography. I had all intentions of becoming a child advocate and photography was just a hobby. As you can see, photography turned into something a little more than a hobby.
I currently reside in Pineville, Louisiana (close to Alexandria) with my husband, two dogs (Toby and Rosie), guinea pigs (Nabisco and Graham), two community fish tanks, and a room full of reptiles. My husband is a Herpetologist who studies and breeds reptiles.
With my photography, I hope to capture your memories and preserve them for you and your family to enjoy and pass on to other generations! I hope to hear from you soon so that I may have that opportunity.
